I first became interested in chiropractic when I was a teenager. For years, I suffered with chronic daily headaches. I was always in pain and the headaches drained a lot of my energy. After no medical answer could be found, my mom brought me to a chiropractor on the advice of a friend. He determined that problems in my neck were actually causing my headaches and that he thought chiropractic adjustments could help me. For the first time in years, I had hope about being able to live without a headache. It took several months of consistent care before I started getting the results I was hoping for, but persistence paid off! I will never forget the first day I woke up and realized I didn’t have a headache. It was like the lights had been turned back on!
Over the next several months, I started to feel an increase in my energy levels and my life began to change for the better. I had always known I wanted to be involved in a career related to health and this experience made me want to help others as I had been helped. After attending the University of Lethbridge, I went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where I was inspired by the stories of others whose lives had also been changed by chiropractic.
Since moving back to Lethbridge and starting our practice in 2005, we have had three beautiful children who keep us busy and remind us every day of the important things in life.
Being a chiropractor is both challenging and extremely rewarding. I continue to be amazed at the power of the human body to restore and heal itself when given the opportunity.
I originally grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and I have been a member of the Lethbridge community since 2004. Since relocating to Canada, my wife and I have enjoyed helping families on their path toward health and wellness. Chiropractic has helped me personally with a number of issues and I would encourage you to come in and find out what chiropractic can do for you and your family.
Before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, I obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from the University of Wyoming. Since then, I have attended multiple seminars; Logan Basic Technique, Activator Methods, multiple extremity adjusting techniques focusing mostly on gentle, effective chiropractic care. I have also attended various nutrition and herbal supplementation seminars. Over the years I have gained experience and knowledge about custom foot orthotics and how they can help with back pain. I am always excited about learning more and enjoy helping people obtain their best potential. I look forward to meeting you!
I grew up on a farm and went to school in Foremost, Alberta. I now live in Lethbridge, I am married and have two adult children. My first experience with chiropractic care started in 1985 (when I was, let’s say, younger) after hurting my back working in nursing homes as a PC. From then on, I continue to put my health “in their hands.” Since I started working at West Lethbridge Family Chiropractic in December 2007 as a CA (Chiropractic Assistant), I have seen, first hand, some of the excellent care and adjustments that both Drs. Amy and Elliott have given to our patients. Everyone here, including the patients, are awesome! I look forward to seeing all of you on your next visit to our office. Good Health to Everyone!
